Holy moly! The week-old scarlet runner beans are nearly twice the height of the six-week old tomato plants!

In the story of Jack and the Beanstalk, Jack got hold of some magic beans that overnight grew up into the clouds. Well, now we know; they must have been scarlet runner beans.
